Not that it surprises me in the least, since the Bush-Cheney culture of corruption sits at the very core of today's Republican Party. You can swap any one of them out, and you will still see the same results. Sooner or later, the people in this nation are going to have to figure this out.
Gov. Palin's tenure in Alaska demonstrates this perfectly. We look to the north, only to find the same corruption, disdain for facts, and obsession with cronyism and revenge. Are you satisfied with the way Dick Cheney ran your government? If so, be prepared to face another four years of the same.
Ah, who am I kidding? The stupids will still be distracted easily. They either don't know, don't want to know, or don't care.
The only question you need consider when heading to the polls in November: are you happy with the tenure of George W. Bush and Dick Cheney? If yes, vote Republican. If no, vote Democrat. It really is that simple. I'll even put it on a little card with colors, like Candyland, if that's too hard for ya.
