Of course, every American should know that abolishing Social Security has been the dream of the Republican Party since its inception in 1935. You surely paid attention when Bush pushed his "privatization" scheme in 2005. Right?
Surprise, surprise, John McCain still supports George Bush's plan to gamble your Social Security savings on the stock market. Hey, why not? The economy is still strong, says McCain. You don't need that pesky Social Security. It's your own fault if you're poor.
