Muramasa's art style is breathtaking, simply breathtaking. Why is the video game industry obsessed with millions of 3D polygons if 2D games can look this stunning? New Super Mario Bros' smashing success reveals a great demand for the classic games of the 8-bit and 16-bit eras.
I'm hopeful that Muramasa builds a Long Tail audience. Lowering the $50 retail price to a more reasonable $20-$30 would help a lot. I'm sure there are many gamers - myself included - who have their eyes on this game, but can't afford that outrageous price.
