Meet the new boss....same as the old boss.
I'd certainly hope not, but when November comes and goes, the Empire will continue to remain the Empire. It will continue to search the globe for new villians to fight, and the Military-Industrial Complex will fight to the death to retain their grip on power. Much as I'd love to see this rotten, corrupt Empire dismantled, this isn't likely to happen. The empires of the world have never disarmed themselves by choice. They crumble into the dust.
Still, on that downer of a note, it should be obvious that Obama will be a far better President than Bush-Cheney, or any Republican for that matter. Our goals of creating a kinder, cleaner progessive world will not end on November 4 or January 20. It is only the turning of the page. Be patient, but be resiliant.
