Konami has unveiled the official box art for the upcoming Contra 4 on Nintendo DS. Looks great, much more polished and professional than the earlier poster (which harkened back to the classic NES style). This is just the sort of thing the DS needs right now. There are far too many brain-style games, far too many pet games, and far too many cheap tv/movie tie-ins. The kwirky DS library is becoming swamped by cheesy games. Contra 4 will definitely help.
Unfortunately, the game will only support two players, instead of four as previously announced. No problems for me, since I never thought it could work with more than two. Expect to see Contra 4 this November.
