Where exactly was the traditional media today and yesterday? I don't think any of them have any damn clue what has happened in Iran. Meanwhile, the internet has been invaluable - Weblogs, Twitter, Facebook.
I'm reminded of the way CNN came of age during the 1990 Gulf War. Have we reached that moment for the internet and the blogosphere? I haven't even considered turning on a tv. What would be the point? I know what awaits me - loud obnoxious political flacks shouting talking points over one another. It's just useless.
I haven't relied upon television for news for years. It's just another outdated technology whose time has passed.
