It is true that when adversity strikes and your back is against the wall, you will discover just what you are made of. Well, in case you've never noticed before, you're seeing just what the Republican Party carries in its bones. The party that made its Faustian bargain with segregation and racism is now left with nothing else. It is the party of the Two-Minutes Hate.
P.S. In the interest of fairness, I should come clean and admit my own drug use. I just had a cup of coffee with sugar. I am not proud of it. But there it is.
