John McCain will try and sell himself as the defender of government regulation and oversight over Wall Street. Don't believe it for one damn second.
Our financial crisis is the result of GOP policy. This is the end result of their endless drive for de-regulation, no oversight, and endless tax cuts for the wealthy. These past eight years have seen the greatest organized crime heist in history. They've practically stripped the paint off the walls. And these same Republicans are going to save us? Please. I can do without McCain's magical commission report. Unless I need extra firewood when we're all out on the street.
Hmph. Wish I had nine mansions.
