When I heard this song, I just about came apart at the seams. This is exactly how it felt in St. Paul, as we were under assault by the stormtroopers and the raw, ugly machinery of the Empire. Metallica has created a fiercely political album without sounding political at all. In that sense, Death Magnetic truly is the sequel to ...And Justice For All.
